Well, I am going to do my first Marathon this Saturday.  I have ran 20 miles 2x over the last three months and feel pretty secure in myself to at least finish,- hopefully between 5 and 6 hours.  I have been guided by and Ironman friend named Brian who tells me the key is nutrition.  I need to down a gel and liquid about every 45 minutes to keep glucose going to my muscles.  One does notice the muscles cramping up thats for sure!
